T.E.O.T.W.A.W.K.I. (The End Of The World As We Know It) pronounced toat-wa-key is an acronym first coined by Mike Medintz on misc.survivalism in the mid-1990s.
WTSHTF: (When the Shit Hits the Fan) A term used to describe disaster situations.
SHTF: (Shit Hits the Fan)
BOB: (Bug-out bag) A bag with important documents, and emergency items for a quick evacuation when the SHTF.
G.O.O.D. : Get Out of Dodge. Evacuating in an emergency; getting out of the city. Acronym coined by James Wesley Rawles
Polly: A person who is in denial about the disruption that could be caused by a large scale disaster.
Prepper: Is often interchanged with the term survivalist. It refers to being prepared or making preparations. Prepper's usually prepare for the unexpected by stocking food and supplies; they also prepare by learning how to live from the land.
EOTW: End of the world
